Hi guys! Today I have for you a simple and elegant looking strawberry, spinach, walnut and sesame seed salad with a balsamic and dijon mustard dressing. Does it not sound beautiful? I thought so too.
I love this nutritious strawberry and spinach salad, it literally take minutes to put together. This salad is quite popular in my house even with my toddlers. It was actually my daughter who prepared it while I recorded. You will recognize her tiny hands. You see they all love strawberries, nuts and seeds, so adding all together in a salad made so much sense.

This is how I make my toddlers eat their greens. If they want strawberry they gotta eat their greens too. Actually my 4 year old wraps the strawberry using the spinach and he calls it a sandwich. Kids can be so creative.
We do try to have at least one green salad everyday, depending on what’s on the menu. For instance, even when I have a butternut squash soup for dinner which is sweet in taste and soft in texture. I will then use salty mackerel, crunchy nuts and some wild rocket to make a salad. The flavours marry together so well.
Raw diet is quite famous, it has natural enzymes which helps boost digestion and fight chronic disease. Some food enzymes gets killed when heated. Although I don’t recommend it to my clients. What I do is I suggest adding more raw food to the diet.
I hope you get inspired today to choose wisely and eat wisely for a better health.
