Last week we looked at how lack of sleep affects just about everything in your body and mind. People who get less sleep tend to be at higher risk for so many health issues like diabetes, heart disease, and certain types of cancer; not to mention effects like slower metabolism, weight gain, hormone imbalance, and inflammation. And don’t forget the impact lack of sleep can have on moods, memory and decision-making skills.
I also shared a few tips on how to create a healthier sleeping pattern and how balancing your sugar and caffeine intake contributes to a sleep pattern disruption.
That’s’ why I decided to share my Caffeine-free Chai Latte with you all so you can replace that afternoon coffee with a delicious treat that also nourishes your body.
It’s perfectly rich, creamy and nutty. The spices can be adjusted according to your taste. I like it a little pungent.
The herbal tea can also be substituted. Don’t use anything too strong though.

Tip: You can try this with other nut or seed butters to see which flavour combination you like the best. Cashew butter anyone?
Steps 3 and 4 are just repeats of 1 and 2… 🙁
