Pan-Fried Sea Bass Fillet

Having fish as a regular part of your diet has many health benefits. Sea Bass for example contains omega-3 acids which help to prevent heart disease and lowers cholesterol and blood pressure. Sea Bass is a good source of Vitamins A and D which work to help your body fight free radical damage, to maintain healthy vision and to boost immunity.
 

Ingredients
2 Fish Fillets
To taste Salt and Pepper
2 tbsp Oil
A drizzle Lemon Juice

Method

  1. Season the fish with a little salt and pepper just before cooking.
  2. Heat the frying pan until very hot, then add 2 tbsp oil. Lay the fish fillets in the pan and press down with your fingers or a fish slice to stop curling up.
  3. Cook for 3-4 mins or until you can see that the flesh has cooked two-thirds of the way up and the skin is crisp and brown.
  4. Flip the fish fillets over and fry on the flesh side for about 2 mins until just done.
  5. Leave to rest on a warm plate skin-side up.
  6. Drizzle some lemon juice and serve.
