Chia Scrambled eggs-8

Chia seeds scrambled eggs were created last week after I received a surprised hamper from the Wholefoods.ie,  it was a gesture of appreciation as I participated in the Vegetarian week challenge last month. I made a tandoori scrambled tofu and a matcha pancakes for them. I had such fun.

The hamper I received was loaded with Chiabia products, including whole chia seeds, milled chia with blueberry, several individual chia seeds sachets perfect for the bags. I also received some Chia bars with nuts, seeds and fruits. The Chia bars were a little too sweet for my liking, though. However, I was super delighted to get the Cooking with Chia for Dummies recipe book.

I use chia seeds every single day in my porridge or smoothies and having that book made sense where I could use it more now and because I encourage healthy fats daily. The book has so many easy to make everyday recipes using chia seeds. Why did I limit my Chia consumption with only porridge and smoothies so far I have no clue but better late than never.

So the first recipe I tried is a Chia seed scrambled egg which took me literally under 15 minutes. I made it together with the kids, and they were happy with the result and waiting to do it all over again.
