I know I might sound like a strict hen when it comes to food, especially recently since I’ve discovered that a poor diet is one of the biggest causes of our sicknesses and long term miseries.

Its more important to eat good food than to obsess about not eating the bad ones or starving yourself. How and what we eat has been the problem but can now be the solution . It’s only by eating real, whole foods that you begin to nourish your body. Intake of sugar, sugary drinks and processed foods destroys your health and energy levels.
REAL FOOD IS ALSO TASTY
Start your healing by turning your attention to real whole foods. Craving sugar and sugary foods is a sign that your body is actually hungry for real foods, real nourishment such as fruit, vegetables, herbs and legumes, meat, fish, eggs and a lot of healthy oils. Undo undo and keep undoing all the routines and habits that we have learned on our journey to an unwell, negative and unhappy self. When you start eating real food you become the person you are meant to be. It’s simple logic, to get the best out of a car you give it the fuel and lubricants it was built for, give it low octane dirty fuel and low grade lubricants and how will your car perform? Sluggish? Damaged parts? Lower performance? Breakdowns and a shorter life? Will you really treat your car to the best in fuel and lubricant to keep it tip top and feed yourself rubbish? Are you really worth less than your car?

DESSERT BUT HEALTHY
As for my planning it starts from this healthy, silky, velvety, chocolaty, sweet:) and so nutritious Cacao and Avocado Mousse. It can be quite filling so if you are making it your Christmas dessert make sure not to fill yourself with that turkey. If you don’t have cacao powder you can substitute it for cocoa powder. The difference in cacao and cocoa is that raw cacao is made by cold-pressing un-roasted cocoa beans. The process keeps the living enzymes in the cocoa and removes the fat (cacao butter). They do look the same but they’re not. Cocoa powder is raw cacao that’s been roasted at high temperatures. Sadly, roasting changes the molecular structure of the cocoa bean, reducing the enzyme content and lowering the overall nutritional value.
Cacao and Avocados Mousse
1 table spoon of cacao powder
1/4 cup of almond milk (optional)
- Put all the ingredients in a blender and pulse till you obtain a smooth and silky paste.
